Males to Men

Males to Men LLC is a Rites of Passage Program and Manhood Development Organization based in Kansas City, MO. Males to Men sets out to provide a platform for our youth to step on and shine like the stars we know they can be. Males to Men will Address -Low Self-esteem, Lack of Self-awareness, Juvenile delinquency, Adolescent fatherhood, Violence, Health Deterioration, Drugs, HIV/AIDS ,Economics and more.

The Kansas City Marching Falcons was founded by Shakina Dawkins. The drill team is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and looking to offer an Afterschool of the Arts program, where members can come to learn about the Arts and tutoring.

The AdHoc Group Against Crime serves as a trusted bridge between the community and law enforcement to reduce violence and solve crimes in order to make our neighborhoods safe and secure.

KC NoVA

The Kansas City No Violence Alliance (KC NoVA) is a community collaboration among several organizations committed to reducing violent crime in the urban core. It is spearheaded by a Governing Board consisting of the following organizations: Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, U.S. Attorney’s Office, City of Kansas City, Missouri, Kansas City Missouri Police Department (KCPD), Missouri Board of Probation and Parole, University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC), U.S. Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Boys Grow

Each summer, 30 youth ages 14 -16 commit to a 2 year position working on the BoysGrow farm. As is often the first payed job for the boys, they learn to work together and develop core vocational skills that are applicable in the market like culinary arts, construction, farming, marketing, and public speaking. Through farming and agriculture the boys gain pride, identity, discipline, and an understanding of the business world.
